Dolce Vita Uri Toe Ring Wedges

Some shoes have got us all confused.

What is this… thing? Is it a sandal? Is it a wedge? Is it a bootie?

It claims to be all of the above, so we just have to take their word for it.

We can see where Dolce Vita was going with this. They chose some really good shoe trends like the ankle bootie, the espadrille wedge, and cutouts. However, mixing all these together in one shoe didn’t quite come out as “wow amazing!”, and is instead getting reviews that are just as mixed.

Perhaps this might’ve worked if the wedge was made of the same material as the upper part of the sandal/wedge/bootie. The natural woven rope is all summery fun, but the black leather is all serious business. Maybe a peeptoe would look better on this too, because that toe ring looks really uncomfortable to wear. Lastly, that beige color on the instep is really disconcerting, so why not just black out the entirety of this pieced-together shoe to cover up all the confusion. Just make it stop.

Of course, as soon as a well-known celebrity is photographed wearing these,  watch these Dolce Vita Uri Toe Ring Wedges fly off the shelves and all discerning taste go out the window.
