I am loving this Versus safety pin dress that Chloe Sevigny wore last April 17 at the 2010 Dada Ball:

It’s quirky, it’s funky, and I love it even more that Chloe Sevigny wore it to a formal event. She looks every part the eccentric fashionista that she is next to all the other ball attendees who came in long gowns and formal cocktail dresses.
However, which pair of shoes should Chloe Sevigny have worn with the dress?
Should she have gone all matchy-matchy and paired her Versus safety pin dress and Versus safety pin bag with the Versus safety pin sandals?:

Or do you agree with her choice to not go overboard with the safety pins and go with the Wooden Platform Clog Booties from Opening Ceremony, a brand for which Chloe Sevigny designs for?:
Personally, I like either pair of shoes on Chloe Sevigny because she can pull both of them off without a hitch. Both styles are equally trademark Chloe Sevigny, even if one is from Versus and the other she personally designed herself.
Price-wise, both pairs of shoes don’t differ that much from each other either (of course, we’re talking about several hundreds of dollars worth of shoes here, so another hundred or so won’t be that much of a difference compared to less expensive shoes): The Versus Metallic Safety Pin Sandals are approximately $876.47 at mytheresa.com, while the Opening Ceremony Wooden Platform Clog Booties are $514.00 at Shopbop.com.
