Katie Holmes Grungy Glam in Vince Camuto Peep Toe Booties

Katie Holmes wowed the crowd in her Armani Privé grey chiffon dress the evening of the 64th Annual Tony Awards, but she was already making waves with this outfit the morning of that same day:

The consensus is pretty divided: either people really love Katie Holmes’ casual getup or they can’t fathom why anyone would wear those unflattering jeans with those peep toe booties.

For the record, I’m on the “love Katie Holmes” side. I loved those peep toe booties on Katie Holmes the first time she wore them to a Lakers game, and I still love them on her now. She could wear them with something a bit dressier, but wearing them with low-key getups like what she’s wearing in the picture proves that those peep toe booties go with everything.
