Demi Lovato isn’t doing those gorgeous boots justice. I see that she was trying to go for that grunge glam style that’s so popular among the Hollywood set, but I can only just shake my head “no” at this assorted mishmash of clashing things.

To show you that it’s not a fluke of the light, the camera or the angle, here are the boots – in different colors! – once more:

Just goes to show that even if you’ve got the most expensive stuff on, it doesn’t mean that you’ll instantly look good.

Demi Lovato’s been pretty successful with her casual, low-key getups so far, but she hasn’t really stepped up to the plate yet when it comes to mixing high-end with low-end. I think we’ll be seeing more of her especially now that she’s trying out a new style and I hope she shows us something, anything, that’s better than this purple boot disaster.
