Would You Wear 4-Inch Platform Booties for a Long Haul Flight Like Cheryl Cole?

November 9, 2010 • By Erika

Cheryl Cole was spotted catching a plane out of LAX last Thursday, November 4th. The British singer was headed home to London, England and geared up for the approximately 11-hour long flight by wearing… 4-inch high platform booties?

Here are pictures of Cheryl Cole departing from LAX and arriving at Heathrow wearing her choice of travel footwear:

Okay, so maybe the platform booties are super comfortable. Or Cheryl Cole is so used to wearing them. Or maybe she keeps a change of shoes in her bag. But did she really have to wear them with cropped flare jeans? The shorter jean length coupled with the ankle-high booties is really cutting off a lot from Cheryl Cole’s height, and the only 5’3″ petite singer doesn’t have a lot of that to begin with.

Oh well, at least Cheryl looks cute from the waist up. Her navy blue pea coat and the navy blue cropped cardigan she changed into look striking against her red hair.

Cheryl Cole’s booties by the way are from Elizabeth and James:

I guess they MUST be comfortable because these babies are selling out EVERYWHERE.

Shopbop.com has the black color as shown in the pictures above. Piperlime.com has them in Mocha Suede. Zappos.com has the rare Navy Suede color. All online retailers are selling these Elizabeth and James booties for $395.00.

Do you think you could wear heels this high for a long haul flight?
