Steve Madden Carnby-S boots

I saw these Steve Madden Carnby-S boots at Nordstrom‘s new arrivals section today and let me ask you, what other popular shoe do these remind you of?

If you’re a boot lover who hasn’t been living under a rock the past year, you’d most likely answer that with “the Jeffrey Campbell Litas!”.

You would also most likely be able to see the two boots’ striking similarities even without a side-by-side comparison, but let me show it to you anyway just because I can.¬†Here’s the Steve Madden Carnby-S boot in black sequin vs. the Jeffrey Campbell Lita boot in black glitter:

So shine factor: Sequins for the SMs, glitter for the JCs.

Wooden heel height: 5 1/4″ for the SMs, 5 1/2″ for the JCs.

Platform thickness: 1 1/2″ vs. 2″.

Boot shaft height: 6″ vs. 4″.

Bonus features: The SMs have an added buckled strap and a back zip while the JCs come in a TON of other colors.

As for price, surprisingly only a 20-dollar difference between the two — $179.95 for the Steve Maddens¬†and $159.95 for the Jeffrey Campbells.

So in this boot battle, which one would you go for – the brand new Steve Maddens or the “It shoe of the year” Jeffrey Campbells?
