Kaya Scodelario in Burberry Quilted Leather Booties at the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Show

British actress Kaya Scodelario stepped out at the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2012 fashion show held at the Kensington Gardens in London, England last Monday.

She was decked in this head-to-toe Burberry Prorsum outfit which again reminded me of just how WINNING the past few Burberry collections have been:

Remember the combination trench coat mania, the shearling aviator jacket craze and the mad shearling-lined platform ankle boot trend?

Well actually, you don’t have to think so far back because those pieces from 2010 are still as desired and as coveted today as they were before.

Burberry clearly knows this and feeds the the fashion fire with constant reinventions of their hot-to-have pieces. Their latest take on their platform ankle boot is this quilted triple buckled strap version seen on Kaya Scodelario:

They retained the platform front, the stiletto heel and the loose leg (designed to fit thick cold weather clothes). They took out the shearling lining, reduced the buckled straps and added a diamond quilted pattern but overall, the boot looks as desirable and as fierce as ever.

Considering that these Burberry boots are a hot ticket item, PLENTY of look-for-less versions are available online. Here are just 5 we found which are still based off of the Fall 2010 style but are still great lookalikes of the Burberry booties nonetheless:

  1. Ash Enigma cuffable shearling buckle booties, $375.00
  2. ALDO Straugter faux fur-lined buckle booties, $40.00 (was $80.00)
  3. Call it Spring Deppert faux fur-lined faux leather buckle booties, $69.99 (Sold Out)
  4. Faux fur and leather buckled strap platform booties, $31.99
  5. Michael Antonio Manny buckled booties, $99.00 (Sold Out)

Although one thing the boots above frustratingly don’t have is the loose leg design. So even though these Joie boots don’t have the platform sole or the multiple buckles, they should still be added to the look-for-less list because they’re the ones that are actually closest to the proportions of the Burberry booties:
