Leighton Meester’s “Very Classy” Look For Less

October 10, 2011 • By Erika

Leighton Meester has worn quite a number of gorgeous boots recently but let’s start with this one first.

Leighton Meester attended Derek Blasberg’s “Very Classy” book signing in Paris, France last Monday. She wore a breezy yet still dressy rolled tab sleeve white mini dress which she cinched at the waist with a cream belt.¬†Leighton accented her look with a cerulean blue Christian Dior Miss Dior clutch and ultra luxurious-looking suede over the knee boots.

You can barely see it in the pictures from the event, but the side square buckle identifies Leighton Meester’s boots as these ones from Roger Vivier:

Roger Vivier Cuissarde Peppy boots

These Roger Vivier boots are a staggering $2,525.00. No exotic skins or gemstones — these are just suede boots!

With a price tag that high, it’s very easy to get Leighton Meester’s look for much, much less. Start with these white and cream dresses with loose sleeves:

James & Joy loose sleeve scoop neck dress, $58.00; Heed wrap front dress, $118.00

Cinch them at the waist with these white and cream skinny belts:

Nixon Rival Beauty skinny belt, $16.17; Fossil multi-ring keeper belt, $28.00

And then finish off your look with any of these 3 brown suede OTK or thigh high boots which are all priced under $200:

DV by Dolce Vita Nathaniel boot, $87.97 (was $159.95); Kelsi Dagger Briallen1 boot, $120.97 to $124.15; Indigo by Clarks Barbara Jay boot, $190.00

Even if you added up ALL of the items here, they’d still cost much less than the Roger Vivier boots!

Pair this look with tights, a scarf and a brightly colored long coat to make it fall/winter appropriate!
