Miranda Kerr Out and About in NYC in Tabitha Simmons Early Ankle Boots

November 14, 2011 • By Erika

Ever since I saw these boots in these pictures of Miranda Kerr while she was out and about in NYC last Thursday, I’ve been dying to find out by who they are:

Miranda Kerr out and about in Manhattan with her son Flynn New York City on November 11, 2011

It’s kind of hard to see the boots’ details in the dark, blurry pictures. There was only one clear picture in the entire set and though it was a very cute angle of chubby-cheeked Flynn, it wasn’t a very good angle of the boots!

Looks like I wasn’t the only one waiting for clear pictures of these boots. As soon as these pictures were posted, many websites quickly identified Miranda Kerr’s boots as these Early ankle boots from model-turned-stylist/designer Tabitha Simmons:

Tabitha Simmons Early triple buckle zip-up ankle boots, $1,130.00

Too bad we weren’t first to ID it but oh well, at least it makes our job a whole lot easier!

These Tabitha Simmons Early ankle boots are a more modern take on the cowboy boot, much like how the very popular Isabel Marant Forbes ankle boots are. But these ones have a bit more bite. Triple buckled straps and a zip-up front contribute to the metal feel and a tapered pointed toe creates a sharper look.

The Tabitha Simmons Early ankle boots retail for a very pricey $1,130.00; if you’ve got it and you want it, you can get these boots at Barneys.

For a look-for-less option, you can try these Wayfar boots from Elizabeth and James:

At $350.00, these are still pretty expensive but at least they’re considerably less pricey than the Tabitha Simmons boots.
