The Appropriately Named United Nude ‘Crazy Lacy’ Platform Booties

This might be the first time we’re writing about the Dutch shoe label United Nude but their flair for the sensational has long been known in our network of fashion blogs. We’re glad we’re finally able to feature United Nude right here on Boots4You. Their shoes are distinctive, innovative and not to mention amazing and it’s about time we wrote about at least one pair here on our blog.

Our chosen United Nude shoe feature debut is this hiking boot-inspired platform bootie which is appropriately named ‘Crazy Lacy’. Because really, what else would you call this bootie? It’s got laces up to the wazoo! :

The entire front is open and only those laces from the toe the ankle are covering it. So this is basically a vamp-less bootie with a shoelace-covered front (and back).

This bootie kind of reminds us of the Iris Shoe Laced bootie United Nude made in collaboration with Iris Van Herpen. It’s also a bit Jeffrey Campbell-ish but more original and its shock value somehow more refined.
