Hell Yeah Studded Boots: An Abbey Dawn Find

April 7, 2012 • By Karla Mae

We’re in a rocksteady mood this weekend, and thank God for the rising Abbey Dawn. Spawned by the talented musician Avril Lavigne, Abbey Dawn promises to be the go-to brand for pulling off not only the punk princess look like Avril’s, but also every other rock queen’s — like, say, Gwen Stefani or Garbage’s Shirley Manson? Hey, why not?

Boots are big on the rock  scene, and while we did swoon over Baldan’s studded boots, it was only for a short while until we realized how it would cost us nearly a thousand dollars.

Not that it wouldn’t be worth it. The calf-length black leather boots also had these things going on that are perfect for a full out rock performance — gold studs, a star motif at the back complete with chains and pearls, and even a grinning skull at the heel.

So, going back to Abbey Dawn, we found an alternative that’s just as hard core — the Hell Yeah boots. Another lace-up pair, it features an ankle-high design with a 5-inch high wedge that is seriously embellished in silver studs.

Buckle accents add just a bit of the layered on the extravagance of an authentic rock style. Its stunning yet simple enough to be worn with anything from leather skirts to frayed denims or patterned leggings!

The Hell Yeah boots are great for a rock-out performance or for an edgy casual style.

And you’ll be glad to know that the cost is a far cry from our Farfetch find. At JustFab, you can get this baby for only $49.95 (the price has been slashed from its original of $70).
