Like what our sister site, Your Next Shoes, has observed, a lot of affordable shoe brands have been upping their style game recently.
Big Buddha is one of those brands, and they’ve jumped on the patterned fabric + leather boot trend bandwagon. While early adapters had their boots priced at around $200 and above, Big Buddha has managed to keep theirs under $100 by using printed textile and synthetic leather instead of actual pattern-woven fabric and real leather.
The result is no less amazing and is, in fact, as head-turning and as eye-catching as the real McCoys:
Big Buddha “Wayne” Western Printed Cowboy Boots, $80.99 to $89.99
Expect these to be real compliment magnets as well. Big Buddha has even managed to make the faux leather material look more expensive by adding a cool distressed effect and a traditional cowboy boot stitching at the toe.
There are a few things to note about these boots though. One is that the print placement on the textile upper isn’t consistent and it’s highly likely that you receive one that’s very different from the product images. Even the pair chosen to be the model has a misaligned colorful chevron stripe. It’s slightly askewed and doesn’t go straight down the middle at the back:
Two is that the tassel could be somewhat annoying, but that’s a personal preference. If you share the same sentiment, you’d be happy to know that the tassel is easily removable as it’s only looped through the zipper pull.
But all of those are minor compared to the very affordable $89.99 price tag on these boots. Zappos even has these marked down to $80.99.
