LeAnn Rimes’ Givenchy Boots Were More Impressive Than Her Performance at “The X Factor” Season 2 Finale

Country singer LeAnn Rimes was on hand at The X Factor Season 2 Finale performances show held at the CBS Television City in Los Angeles on Wednesday, December 19.

She was there to perform a duet with finalist Carly Rose Sonenclar, which turned out to be a mess as the two struggled together to get through LeAnn Rimes’ very own “How Do I Live.” It even seemed like Rimes tried to upstage the 13-year-old finalist. If you haven’t watched the performance yet, you might want to check out this video and be the judge.

Anyway, I’m glad that despite the not-so-good performance, LeAnn Rimes wore an interesting ensemble. It’s actually just a classic LBD, but it looks to have a leather panel at the sides (or back?). She accessorized with a long necklace with beads, fringes, and chains, which added a hint of country style.

Although the dress was simple, her boots most likely had everybody talking.

That bulky shape definitely makes this pair interesting. It may be simple for some because of its classic-black-leather-boot design, but the silhouette and the way it’s done is something that’s unique.

These boots feature pebbled calfskin leather overlay at the 16-inch shaft, which makes this stand out. There’s also an interesting gold-tone shark-tooth, turn-lock clasp at the tonal strap around the collar.

Despite the width of the shaft, the boot comes with a sexy pointed toe as well as a squared wedge heel that measures about 4 inches. It’s interesting because you couldn’t even get a peek at the heel.

Anyway, if you want these Givenchy shark-tooth knee-high wedge boots, you must have $1,695! You can get these boots at Barneys, Net-A-Porter, or Saks.
