Jerome C. Rousseau’s collections never fail to be unique. Rousseau uses elegant materials and has an eye for modern silhouettes — no wonder many people (including celebrities) love his designs! His spring 2013 collection also shows an array of shoe designs that are undeniably modern and unconventionally beautiful. We’re glad that this collection also includes some booties, some of which are already available for pre-order at Jerome C. Rousseau’s website.
Today, we’re featuring those bootie designs. Actually, we only have two here, one of which is available in different interesting versions.
1. Jerome C. Rousseau Spring 2013 Treide Booties
These sandal booties feature contemporary geometric cutouts in nude patent and mesh inserts that add a more feminine look. If not for these mesh trims, the booties could have been just a modern sandal design. An ankle strap with gold-tone buckle fastening is available, and a zipper at the back helps for easy wear. Completing the booties’ design are the 5-inch heel and about an inch of platform.
Expect this pair to arrive come March 25, 2013.

2. Jerome C. Rousseau Spring 2013 Juda Booties
Another Rousseau we’re featuring here is the “Juda” pair, which is available in different versions. It comes in mesh, in floral lace, and in woven leather. The following are expected to arrive by March 25 as well.
I particularly love the simplicity of the Juda mesh booties. They are simple but elegant, featuring bone-colored mesh with tonal leather trimming. A zipper fastening is present at the side, and there’s a peep toe for an added girly look.

The next two boots are done in floral lace, which is very feminine and kind of dramatic, especially the black one. And while the black version may be versatile, the coral one is specifically trendy for spring and summer.

Below is a version that’s similar to the plain bone-colored Juda bootie in mesh. The mesh here is in white and is trimmed with nude patent leather. For embellishments, some edgy gold-tone round and pyramid studs are used on the mesh material. Interesting, right? And I think it’s the first time I’ve seen such an embellished mesh design.

Lastly, here’s a woven version of the Juda booties available in metallic bronze and black leather. This pair has no embellishments or any further details, but the woven design itself is chic enough.
