Alexander McQueen’s legacy continues to move forward, and up until today, his brand is still creating designs that really draw attention. His previous collections have not failed to amaze many in the world of fashion, and we could see that happening again with regard to the brand’s spring/summer 2013 collection.
From the said collection, three boot designs can now be purchased for pre-order at Neiman Marcus. Check out them out below.
1. Studded Leather Cage Booties
The Alexander McQueen leather cage booties feature looped leather straps that form a cage design. The loops look edgy enough, but the silver-tone studs all over them make the booties look even tougher — although a lot more stylish, too. This pair has a zipper fastening at the back for easy wear and is finished with modernly curved heels and platforms that measure about 5 inches and 2/3 inches, respectively.
These booties are expected to arrive by March 22, 2013.
2. Metallic Sugar Honeycomb Wedge Boots
Next is the unusually shaped and designed honeycomb wedge pair. This is made of glitter-covered leather that features a very unique honeycomb pattern at the vamp. How’s that? Aside from the honeycomb, there are also cutouts at the sides. Three gold-tone buckles are also present on the outer side, and there are elastic strips on the inner side for a perfect, comfy fit. Other features include an ankle cuff with adjustable buckle fastening and a lace detail at the back. The snipped peep toe also adds to the boots’ interesting style. However, the details that make this pair totally out of this world are the 6-inch glitter-covered sculpted wedge heel and the 2-inch platform with clear Lucite® overlay.
The shipping date for this pair will be around April 22, 2013.
3. Studded Cage Booties
The third pair of boots is more wearable than the second one. It’s also studded and has a cage design like the first pair. However, instead of looped leather for the cage design, these boots feature a latticework cage in polished leather. The golden studs here are conical – elegant and tough at the same time. More features include a snipped peep toe and a zipper fastening at the back. Completing the look is a 5-inch curved heel with a 1/2-inch platform for added height.
The expected shipping date of these booties is no later than April 22 of this year.
