This is the first time we’re featuring Jessica Chastain on our blog, but based on her other candid on-the-street shots, we’ve observed that she likes a retro vintage spin to her everyday outfits.
Take, for example, the ensemble she wore on her way to perform in the Broadway show The Heiress last Wednesday. Jessica Chastain seemed to wear a simple black t-shirt and jeans, but chose a velvet-trimmed double-breasted coat with a 40s-like semi-boxy fit, a classic emerald green handbag, and black-and-white spats-style button boots to complete her look.

Her look can’t get any more vintage-inspired than these boots on Jessica Chastain’s feet:

A quick search revealed that these boots are from Chanel’s fall 2008 collection.
This late 19th century boot style continues to influence modern boots today. And although they’re mostly considered as costume wear now, spats boots continue to be designed, made, and sold in the same look they had in the late 19th century! They even come in various heights — ankle, mid-calf, and knee-high:

Bordello by Pleaser USA Flora-1023 Booties, $48.25 to $64.99 (before: $69.95)

Funtasma by Pleaser “Splendor 130″ Mid-Calf Button Boots, $56.02 to $74.99

Leg Avenue Knee Buttons Boots, $19.43 to $87.00
Would you be able to wear these vintage-inspired boots as part of your everyday style ala Jessica Chastain? If so, note that we found all of the boots featured here at Amazon.
