Rooney Mara Brings the Edgy Look to the Red Carpet Premiere of Her Sister’s “House of Cards” Series

Rooney Mara, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo star, was out to support her sister, Kate Mara, at the premiere of her newest TV series, House of Cards, at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City on Wednesday, January 30.

Unlike the Kardashians who almost have the same fashion style, Rooney and Kate seem to differ in fashion taste (at least at the red carpet premiere of House of Cards). I guess Rooney didn’t want to steal the spotlight from her sister as she only wore a very simple but edgy Boy. by Band of Outsiders pre-fall 2013 jumpsuit, while Kate was in a Dolce & Gabbana fall 2012 metallic embroidered dress with pearl embellishments.

Also, instead of wearing pumps or sandals to provide some contrast to her edgy jumpsuit, Rooney went for a pair of lace-up boots by Rag & Bone. She wants it tough, huh?
