It’s the Oscars again and that means red-carpet-watching season. Boots usually take a back seat to pumps, platforms, and other strappy sandals at this time but because we love boots so much, we adamantly think boots can still be worn even for a glamorosa event like the Oscars.

Nicole Richie has already proven her designing chops with her successful jewelry line so when she announced last year that she was going to come out with a footwear collection for House of Harlow in 2010, not just a few fashion blogs eagerly anticipated to see how Nicole’s next foray into the fashion biz will turn out.

Fashion websites, style blogs and even celebrity sites were all about the Milan Fashion Week these past few days. While they covered everything from backstage happenings to fashion insider gossip about why celebrities were conspicuously missing from the front row seats, the real news was (surprise!) the fashion shows themselves. Some countries may have taken a jab at fashion, its stereotypes, and its idiosyncracies some time or another, but in a place like Milan where fashion is integrated into culture, the industry is serious business.

It’s been so long, maybe too long, since we last saw Sarah Michelle Gellar in the press. So it was nice to see her again this week – still looking as great as ever - not just once, but twice.

Hilary Duff may have had a horrible Valentine’s when her dog went missing that day, but we all know that it all had a happy ending. We love ugg boots here at Boots4You. We really do. We have nothing against them, no matter what brand or make they are.

I’ve always had a bone to pick with two separate pieces of clothes that are sewn together. Like, how hard is it to wear a vest after a shirt? Or a shirt over another shirt? And rolling up sleeves never presented any problems for anyone I know, so why do designers feel the need to sew sleeves that are permanently stuck to the elbows?
