Fresh from visiting sister Khloe in Dallas, Texas, Kourtney Kardashian was seen spending some more quality time with her more famous sister Kim in Beverly Hills, California last Friday.

Kourtney and Kim got together for a midday lunch date at a friend’s house. They then went their separate ways with Kourtney hitting a few stores to pick up a gift for a friend’s birthday party later that afternoon.

For that relatively low-key day, Kourtney Kardashian brought out her pair of Koolaburra Jaden stiletto biker boots which was first spotted on her sometime late last year. These 5-inch stiletto boots aren’t what most of us would choose to wear on a kickin’ it back day but for someone who’s used to wearing sky-high heels like Kourtney, these probably feel like fuzzy slippers to her.

Well, these boots are lined with soft and luxurious shearling so maybe they do have a bit of a fuzzy slipper-like feel to them.

Just a little bit though because as you can see, these biker boots look nothing like fuzzy slippers. In fact, they could even be considered as lookalikes of the Burberry shearling-lined buckled booties which as many of you may know, are only the most sought-after Burberry boots since the Fall 2010 collection.

In fact, Ashley HAS worn boots like these, except they’re taller, have more fringes and don’t have the wedge heel.

Ashley Tisdale’s Winter Boot Collection

Ashley Tisdale has been spotted numerous times in various locations in Vancouver, Canada this past couple of weeks. As many of you may know, the 25-year-old actress is busy filming new episodes for her TV show “Hellcats” and has been spending a lot of her time over at the “Hollywood North”.

Vancouver is currently experiencing 30°F weather and Ashley Tisdale has been keeping the cold out with her apparently extensive winter boot collection. In fact, she’s been seen in four different pairs of winter boots while traipsing around town, and those spots were all within just the past seven days.

Here is where it gets more exciting. After filming a wedding scene for the show, Ashley Tisdale quickly covered up in sweatpants and a pair of UGG Ultimate Short Boots in bright red. Ashley was still wearing the pink ruffly dress she wore for the scene underneath her jacket, sweatpants and boots, so that made for a quite a unique look on the actress.

Lastly and most recently are these moon boots from Christian Dior. Ashley Tisdale wore these to walk to the “Hellcats” set so I expect to see her in these on the show! They’re not exactly wedding appropriate (they were still filming wedding scenes that day), but I find these to be the most interesting pair out of all the boots Ashley Tisdale was spotted wearing this week.

Our last Who Wore It Better (WWIB) post was way back in October 2010. That means it’s high time for another WWIB post!

In today’s fashion show down, we’re pitting two young Hollywood stars, namely Vanessa Hudgens and Hayden Panettiere, against each other. The item of clothing in question is the Koolaburra Wings Boots which are basically just graphic print sheepskin boots, but can look almost high fashion when styled in different ways.

Hayden Panettiere attended the 2011 Winter TCA press tour last Friday where she spoke about her latest project The Amanda Knox Story during the Lifetime Television portion of the event. Hayden wore a black and grey mini dress and black pumps under her leather jacket for the press tour, then changed into jeans and her Koolaburra boots later on.

As if the leather jacket, the black boots and the swept back James Dean hair weren’t enough, Hayden also added a heavy metal dangling clip-on earring to her glam rock getup. If you look through pictures of Hayden Panettiere speaking at the 2011 Winter TCA tour, you’ll notice that she didn’t have this earring on during the press interview.

Ugg Boots with A (W)edge: Koolaburra Kristin Boots

Koolaburra is getting a bit of a reputation here on Boots 4 You. First they gave us the overly furry boots, then the furry summer sandals, and for this winter 2011, they’ve given us ugg boots with approximately 2.5″-high wedge heels:

Okay, so wedge heels on ugg boots aren’t really anything new or to get excited about. In fact, UGG Australia themselves came out with their own wedge ugg boots years ago. But something about this design from Koolaburra is throwing me off and I think I know what it is: they’ve kept the same rounded and sloped toe seen on regular ugg boots despite the addition of the wedge heel.

It’s like that high-heeled Jil Sander desert boot all over again. They just stuck a heel on these boots without altering the upper, toe and arch so the boot ends up looking like it’s going to pitch you forward. I actually don’t mind the wedge but now the proportions look all wrong. Also, the wedge is still made of the same crepe material, which probably means that it’s going to soak up even more water if you try to walk these in snow or rain.

Koolaburra also has these other wedge ugg boots which are much more stylized, so you kind of expect them to have some sort of heel or other:

These make the wedge heel look acceptable but I still can’t look past the stuck-on-heel appearance. Compare these boots with wedge ugg boots from other sheepskin boot brands to see what I mean.
