Last Friday, Nicole Scherzinger talked to Terri Seymour of Extra about her breakdown after fan favorite Rachel Crow got kicked off on The X Factor.

Looking a lot more cheerful than she did that elimination night, Nicole calmly explained her decisions and actions as an X Factor judge to Terri Seymour. She looked ready, well-prepared and like she was ready to face any interview question head on in this tough rock chic outfit:

Nicole’s silvery square-studded side-ruched top was paired with black leather pants, which she accessorized with plenty of rock-inspired gunmetal jewelry pieces. She teamed her look with loose wavy hair and heavy eye makeup. Her finishing touch for us of course are these fabulous fringe boots on her feet:

We thought Nicole Scherzinger’s fringe boots were the Nicholas Kirkwood fringe wedge booties at first but hers clearly have a stiletto heel. A bit more looking around lead us to these fringe boots from Luichiny. These have the long fringes, the inside zipper and the seam on the side of the vamp just as they are on Nicole’s own boots:

Look what I found among the new arrivals at Heels. These Luichiny True Fit buckled over-the-knee boots which are a dead ringer for Vanessa Hudgens’ Area Forte boots! :

Brooklyn Decker was in New York City last Wednesday to attend the launch party for Amazon‘s new website called MyHabit.com. I checked out the members-only site using my Amazon account and it turns out to be a fashion-focused site that offers private sales and special discounts on handpicked selections from designer brands to its members.

Boots and Socks – Stuck Together?

I’ve always had a bone to pick with two separate pieces of clothes that are sewn together. Like, how hard is it to wear a vest after a shirt? Or a shirt over another shirt? And rolling up sleeves never presented any problems for anyone I know, so why do designers feel the need to sew sleeves that are permanently stuck to the elbows?

Okay, so the last isn’t really an example of clothes that are stuck together, but this one sure is – the Annabel sweater bootie from Luichiny:

Is it a sock? Is it a boot? Is it a mary jane shoe? No, it’s all of the above!

Why bother with putting on socks when you can just slip your feet into these babies? You can roll the socks down to turn them into ankle boots or pull them up the calf to turn them into full boots. Keep people wondering about exactly what type of shoes you have on!

Now for the hard part: Wouldn’t the socks get dirty eventually? So how are you supposed to wash these things? You can’t really just throw leather shoes into the washing machine.

The cable knit socks are lovely, but what if you want to change the color of your socks? Are they interchangeable at least? Or does Luichiny suggest that we buy all colors of the Annabel sweater booties?

So many unanswered questions.

If the whole point of adding socks to shoes was to keep them from scrunching down – and we’re already sewing clothes together anyways – then maybe sewing the top of the socks to them hem of shorts or skirts would be a better idea hmm?

Beyonce won 6 out of a possible 10 nominations at the 2010 Grammy Awards, making her the most awarded female on a single night ever in Grammy history.

Just thought that Beyonce’s amazing feat deserves to be written about everywhere, including here on Boots4You even though it has nothing to do with boots (but it will, later in this post).

Beyonce set the record Sunday, January 31 at the Staples Center in LA, raking in the awards for Song of the Year, Best Female R&B Performance, and Best R&B Song for ”Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”; Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “Halo”; Best Traditional R&B Performance for “At Last”; and Best Contemporary R&B Album for I Am… Sasha Fierce.

Beyonce’s Giorgio Armani Privé silver and gold chain metal gown she wore during her acceptance speech was showstopping, but even more was the outfit she wore for her performance:
