We are all over this winter season’s clean and sleek tall boots. Featuring smooth leather or suede uppers, very minimal embellishments, and one single coloring from top to heel, this latest boot trend is quite a departure from last year’s super studded styles.
It was a little hard to let go of the buckles and harness straps that we’ve gotten used to seeing, but once we saw how sophisticated-looking these new boots are, the transition was suddenly easy.

I first saw these BCBG Max Azria Vintage Rain Boots as a tiny thumbnail like how you usually first see things when you’re shopping online.

Just thought it would be fun to have a little contest today. Here are two almost identical looking boots from Black Rooster and Dereon. I have a strong feeling these are knock-off versions of a more luxurious pair, but I’m not exactly sure from which designer brand yet (perhaps you can enlighten me…).
