Getting ready to kick off her “Femme Fatale” European tour, Britney Spears was spotted catching a flight to London via LAX airport last Wednesday.

She kept comfy for the transatlantic flight in an inside-out green t-shirt and leggings, and then switched it up with a red checkered flannel shirt and black denim leggings for her promo stop at the KISS FM radio studio the next day:

Oh dear.

The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards was already lackluster fashion-wise, but the worst pairs of shoes of the night just had to be boots.

Boots Britney Spears Should’ve Worn with Her Herve Leger Dress

It’s been a while since we last saw Britney Spears but she came out and wowed us at KIIS FM’s 2011 Wango Tango Concert in Los Angeles last Saturday. Britney looked smoking hot in this Herve Leger rose-patterned jacquard mini dress which she finished off with a simple pendant necklace, kohl-lined eyes and healthy-looking bouncy blond hair:
