Rachel Bilson certainly doesn’t look too happy about the paps being at her workplace but that’s just one of the things that can’t be helped when you’re a celebrity. On the plus side at least we get to see more of Rachel Bilson’s enviable effortless casual chic style, which is almost on a daily basis at this point.

Here’s one of those days which looks to be a bit chilly based on what Rachel Bilson is wearing:

Rachel Bilson stayed warm on the set of her upcoming movie “The To Do List” in a The Kooples military coat worn over a Stylemint navy henley tee and Citizens of Humanity Avedon Slick skinny legging jeans.

She accessorized with her must-have Ray Ban wayfarers, her essential Chanel purse and these Coach Liana wedge booties:

Rachel Bilson has been seen wearing these booties since late last year and you can see in the close-up that she has already gotten some wear out of them. She’s obviously still crazy about these booties because she wore them now right in the middle of summer as soon as she had an excuse to do so.

Wearing suede ankle boots has been one of the biggest surprise fashion trends to hit summer this year. And when it comes to the biggest fashion trends, you can bet that Rachel Bilson is and will be wearing it.

Let’s see: Rachel Bilson is wearing a Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2011 down coat, a Pre-Fall 2011 tweed keyhole dress, Resort 2011 buckle boots and carrying a Spring 2011 orange moto clutch.

I think Rachel could’ve gone with a different coat with this outfit but other than that, I don’t think she could go wrong with wearing an ensemble composed entirely of pieces from this year’s winning Burberry Prorsum collections.

I’m sure many of you have been eying the boots since the start of this post so let’s get on to them!

Trainingheels over at Shoe Blog wrote about falling in love with a pair of fire engine red boots that were on sale. Paparazzi spotted Rachel Bilson last week going to a meeting in a pair fabulous knee-high red boots. Even the seemingly impossible-to-wear-in-real-life Prada Wader Boots were seen out and about, on the feet of no other than Jessica Alba.

Red is obviously very much in season, but how red can you go?

Rachel Bilson’s boots are a darker, almost brown red so that shade is probably the safest. The dynamite red on the boots that trainingheels loved so much is a bit trickier, but still a color most women can use to brighten up a drab outfit. But the Pradas? Not only are they a difficult orange red hue, but that unflattering triangular shape with the column heels make them even more complicated to wear. But that’s not stopping celebs like Jessica Alba and Lady Gaga from wearing the harnessed rubber boots – after all, they are Prada.
