5 of the Best Summer Boot Styles from Vince Camuto

July 15, 2010 • By Erika

Fans of Vince Camuto might kick me for this, but I only took notice of the shoe brand when Katie Holmes kept being spotted again and again in her Vince Camuto booties. They look good on her, they look comfortable and Katie Holmes demostrated that they could be paired with almost anything, so I made it a point to bookmark Vince Camuto and keep an eye out for when their new shoe styles arrive.

Vince Camuto did not disappoint. The new shoe arrivals are the kind you can wear again and again. Considering that it’s summer you’d think that they would pay special attention to their sandals, but no, it’s their boots, booties and sandals booties that are the real eye-catchers and are pretty much stealing the entire show. (Especially when they have one bootie that’s very much in the style of Miley Cyrus’s gorgeous Alaia boots, the Vince Camuto sandals really don’t stand a chance.)

So from the new Vince Camuto shoes, I’ve carefully – and with much difficulty – chosen 5 of the best boot styles that you can wear even in the deadest heat of summer. Okay maybe not, but I know I would grab every chance I can get to wear these gorgeous boots right now and try my best to work them well into fall.

Let’s start with number 5:

5. Vince Camuto Bronco

A very unique pair of boots. The slate grey color is easy to incorporate into both a summer and a fall wardrobe. These would go well with an oversized tee and denim shorts now, then wear this with tights and a coat later on when it gets a bit chillier.

4. Vince Camuto Delilah

The design instantly reminds you of straw hats and sundresses, but you can also wear these booties when you want to dress to impress.

3. Vince Camuto Avo

Peep toes, cutout heels and studs are definitely not work appropriate, but for some reason, the design on these booties is subtle enough so that you can get away with pairing them with work clothes. Would you risk it?

2. Vince Camuto Caylo

Loving the gladiator sandal feel on these booties. If you want to wear gladiators this summer but don’t want to look like everybody else, blow ’em away with these very different 3 1/2″-high cone heels.

1. Vince Camuto Carma

And finally the number one booties: the Alaia-likes. They’re so Alaia, so lovely and so relatively inexpensive (!) at $137.95. Definitely boots to fall in love with.

All of these Vince Camuto shoes are available at ShoeBuy.
