Boots You Can Braid, Blowdry or Beehive: Bearpaw Boetis Boots

December 16, 2010 • By Erika

Gah! Why are they making these boots hairier and hairier?

The latest to join the overly furry boot bandwagon are these Boetis Boots from Bearpaw. These used to be carpet-like or dog-like at most, but now these furry boots are full-on hairy and nearly at Cousin Itt-like proportions!

Why did they have to make the lamb fur on these boots so long or worse, so curly? Unlike other fur boots, this one isn’t making me want to cuddle it or touch it. It looks alive and I feel like I’ll pick something out of it if I stick my hand into all that hair.

Oh and don’t miss out on the shoe uppers. They’re also ghastly covered in fur:

This fur isn’t made of the same lamb fur on the shaft but of calfskin, so those are two types of materials from animals you’ll be wearing in just one fur boot.¬†Oh the joy!

If these boots still have got you by the short and curlies and you feel like you have no choice but to buy them, you can get them for $144.99 at Amazon.
